I haven't gone in a few years, but I loved my 7-wood to death.

Like most duffers, I had difficulty with the long irons. Unlikely most, I was actually pretty handy with a fairway wood. The 7-wood was like a gift from heaven. I hit the the absolute stuffing out of it, and consistently too. The 3-iron never found its way back into the bag.
