To be clear, I'm not saying Beetlejuice or any 1 movie will save the box office.

It's the fact that the release schedule looks more like it used to > weekends with at least one major film coming out, blockbusters scattered about, mid range films there to possibly break out, Indy films to fill the gaps.
All of those things are gonna happen from the middle of June on (post Inside Out 2) that didn't happen previously.
The box office was rolling after Barbenhemier. It just got crushed with the strike. I'm not saying it'll return to the $11 billion a year days yet, but this last 6 months will be better than the last 6 months of 2023.
