So that's potentially 6+ hours for a 500+ mile trip costing $$$? That's getting close to "just drive it" threshold if it's over land. -- nm

Dakar-Conakry would be about a 24 hour drive with inevitable drama at the border. Not sure they’d give me the visa even with all the paperwork. -- nm
