I think it was a smart decision to delay it
HEAR ME OUT
I am VERY PRO-congestion pricing
Republicans in the burbs were trying to use it as a battering ram against Dems for the November election
So postpone it now. After the election announce it starts January 1. Done and done.
Now, if it REMAINS postponed after the election, THAT is a problem
(P.S. I'm not really a Hochul fan, but I understand the reasoning here)
