While I had heard some trivia about the Tulsa massacre (first time civilians were bombed by airplane) it wasn't till recently...

I learned how it became the black wall street.
The exiled native people also had owned slaves, I mean everyone mostly did including the leaders of the abolution community.
But they gave them the 40 acres and a mule. And that was the genesis of a thriving town.
