Very US centric with some Western Europe. We did get to the Vietnam War though which was fairly recent history at the time.

When I went to college and had to take core curriculum classes I made sure to avoid US and European content as I felt I had gotten them in high school. So I took African history to fulfill the history requirement and Asian literature for that requirement, etc.
