They keep talking about 'dreary' terminals, which really isn't true. And then they keep showing T4 which is NOT being replaced.

New T1 is needed, current T1 is too small and overly packed for sure. It's not a joy there.
But the main complaints with JFK have been, and will be, delays due to weather and congested NYC airspace, something that won't change despite the nicer terminals.
