I figure LA can offer a shit-ton more given they have hundreds of millions in money, but is it worth it for a mediocre situation?

Lebron's 40 -- he's going to be done soon. Davis is on the wrong side of 30 and was never as great as people wanted him to be. And the supporting cast is not a selling point in the West with the depth they have there.

So come in, top out at the 6th seed if everything goes right, get beat by Dallas / Denver / Oklahoma City ... and then Lebron finally realizes he's done...and then you're going to hope to sign some free agents to maybe stars enough to be relevant.

With that front office who's shown nothing but "Hey, we're LA...that's enough, right?"
