I heard descriptions of previous bills saying they included "firewalls" to prevent people from moving to the gov option under certain conditions

and they were not uncommon conditions, I think it had something to do with the cost differences between your employers plan and the government plan. Wonder if that's still in play. It sounded like the typical special interest backdoor.
