plastic bag cop jumps up saying "gotcha," Gary was in on the plan to set up Madison, she's arrested for murdering her husband and attempting to murder a cop, and Gary goes back to the gig as Ron, questioning his decision to put his love in prison.
Speaking of which, I forgot midway through that Gary wasn't actually a cop - would it have been likely that he owned a gun or would have been assigned one so he could pull it on the ex-husband after ice cream?
