And if they were shirking from home what are the chances they'd be highly productive in the office? A dud employee is a dud wherever they work.

If they're waggling their mouse so they don't get constantly harassed by beancounters when they're still getting their work done across the weekly period then the employer is focused on the wrong thing.

WFH location is the least of the headlines in this story. Especially if they're not good at assessing employee worth ethic, how good is their loan risk assessment?
