Prior management would have been satisfied dealing a few players at the deadline, getting borderline AAA players in return, and winning 70 to 75 games.
As I said before, this is what happens when you spend a decade drafting terribly, signing bad free agents, and trading players for mediocre players in return.
If it works, the Pirates can be contenders. If not, look out below...and Neal Huntingdon knows full well he'll lose his job if it doesn't.
