1. The Penguins won the Stanley Cup and the Steelers won the Super Bowl.
2. The Steelers start training camp on Friday and hockey starts not long after that.
The Pirates stink, have stunk, and will stink for at least the next 2 years after this year--back to back 100 loss seasons cannot be discounted. They're in a tough spot right now, because the Pirates have lost an entire generation of fans and are working on losing a second generation. Time will tell if the hail Mary pass connects.
