B2 - I bet that $255 figure is pretty minimal about how it defines hobbies.

It probably wouldn't include fishing or hunting equipment, books, gardening supplies, camera equipment, etc or extra spending on things that everyone does, like cook or have a computer, that are more hobby-related, like baking several times a week or having a gaming PC. It might not even include spending on things that are also assets and traded, like stamps/coins/baseball cards etc.

They probably just add the sales figures from toy stores and craft stores and divide by the population.
