from B2 (Weekend viewing): Nelly (B+) - his show was just a big ole STL party. Loved the songs, the energy - really fun show.

Janet (A) - pretty sure she didn't sing the whole show. She definitely did some, but likely lip synced others. But the setup, the dancers, HER dancing, the band, the vibe - was everything I hoped it would be. She played almost all of Control and most of Rhythm Nation and Janet. Such a good time. Played for about 2 hours at 59 years old in 90 degree St. Louis heat.

DJ Jazzy Jeff (B) - had no idea what to expect but like it was suggested, he just DJ'd. He had an MC with him, they played all kinds of stuff from Uptown Funk to the theme from Cheers while also giving us a brand new track based on the Super Mario Bros music. So much fun.

Paula Abdul (B) - you'll never see another 62 year old move like she does. Wow. She sounded good and her show is actually like show time. She basically takes you through what it takes to put together her tour with her dancers, etc. Very cool, very personable - definitely the best crowd interaction of everyone we saw. The only knock on the show is that we were outside and she came on before the sun went down. Her show was probably an A if you saw it in the dark, with the lights and everything, as intended.

NKOTB (B) - I really feel like I should have known more of their songs, but it was mostly stuff I've never heard. They were a lot of fun. Donnie's an absolute nutball. He was all over the place. He and Jordan have both declined in the vocals department. but Joey McIntyre sounds fantastic.

All in all - it was an amazing throwback weekend of shows. Andrea - you're gonna really love them both!!
