I was trading on " news" what was going up? what was the newest sector ( weed, weight loss drugs - krispy kreme going into McDonalds") things of that nature.

did not do all that well.

Then I found monthly dividend stocks. That seems to be where it matters for me. I only looked at those since I could not afford the actual stocks - these were cheaper and they pay out something every month. I love that part.

Is it the correct thing to do? who knows.

Make a watchlist and see if you pick some good ones before you actually buy? sort of like a HSX portfolio
