It was weather. I may inquire after the fact if they'll do some kind of compensation but was much more interested in making sure she had a room. EDIT: United only would consider -- (edited)

compensation if it was a crew/mechanical issue. No issues rescheduling her flight (she's in the air now) but hotel is on us
