My only experience with Cabaret is the 1972 movie which I thought was going to be a musical and if you take just the music parts from the movie, I don't think that's gonna work.
Oh, wait. Actually that's the second experience with Cabaret. My first was when Joel Grey was the host on the Muppet Show. Course I wouldn't put that together for years.
