Look, "burn it all down" in the name of purity, whether from the left or the right, is never a good thing. Oddly, it's kind of where the extremes of the left and right get very close together. It's an absolutism with no room for dissent, questions, or actually even freedom of thought. Everything has an absolute right and wrong answer. Anything that isn't perfect is bad. The world is too complicated for that. My daughter has friends like this and it just fills her with anxiety to be around them for fear that she will say something that doesn't perfectly match their views (because she's seen them turn on people for that many times). Make things better and don't burn to the ground everyone who doesn't match your exact views with the same enthusiasm you do. Take the wins. Fight for more. But always choose the path that leads to better and be happy when you get that win. Even if it isn't perfect and with the same absolute purity of purpose and reason that you have.
