lost in all the SCOTUS contortions to create this presumptive immunity doctrine for presidents, seems to me is the oath they all take on inauguration day -- (edited)

like even if you grant that "discussing" how to do crimez with your AG or other DOJ officials is somehow and "official act" of the presidency, that illegal purpose is ab initio contrary to the oath you swore when taking the office to uphold the constitution and all laws of the land as president
