and everyone is worried.
no one has their head in the sand, and no one has been muted. I don’t know more we could do to show we’re in alignment, something almost unprecedented for a group of st’s size. we don’t need to be single-focused, though. it’s a mixed-topic community, and I’m forever grateful to have been able to get some respite from the badness elsewhere.
that said, the return of twitter-esque incendiary/extreme terms and names being used after polite requests that they not be has made me literally feel sick when skimming boards.
there’s *so much* anti-jewish stuff out there right now; and, while I get wanting to call trump names or use descriptors for how awful he is or could be, he’s not hitler. seeing that and nazi used repeatedly isn’t needed because, again, we all know, and it makes it feel unsafe.
