Comes apart in the 3rd act because of a few logistical minutia (spoilers)

You don’t drive from the Port of Los Angeles to Beverly Hills in one hour.
Also, they’re scouring the Port of Los Angeles randomly to find a drug shipment? The place is HUGE. They’ll never find it.
When they *DO* find the shipment, it’s just some statues and crates like everything isn’t shipped in containers these days? This isn’t The Usual Suspects, guys!
Finally, Foley outruns a police pursuit in Los Angeles? Never gonna happen. And no helicopters, either!
Ultimately, though, it’s just brainless fun. Very much a throwback to the movies of the 80s. Maybe as good or better than any of the originals, but who can say? Could you tell me the plot of a single Beverly Hills Cop movie? There’s 3.
