Point Pleasant is a beautiful spot and roughly equivalent to Beacon Hill. The harbour walk is nice but Fisherman's Wharf-y. Beaches? What's your transportation situation? Car? Taking all transit?
What kind of food are you looking for? I can go spendy/cheap, local/international.
