For the studios I think it’s a legitimate question as to whether to chase the independent streaming service market or use it as an ancillary market.

For the studios there is the traditional path of theatrical to paid home “video” to other ancillary markets. They seem to be struggling with the streaming service side of. I definitely see the argument for sticking with the traditional strategy with more traditional windows but instead of it ending up on your own streaming service, you sell it to Netflix, Amazon, Apple, or whomever. The other nice thing is if you just sell it, you don’t have to spend for marketing again when it hits streaming. The steamer will have to take that on.
