Hilarious stat: Beverly Hills Cop 2 and 3 earned less than $200 million...combined.

Murphy's last *$100* million earner wasn't even because of him. It was Dreamgirls, which scraped by at $103.3 million. The last live-action film before that to earn $100 million was Daddy Day Care in 2003...and was only at $104 million.

But these threads have made me feel a bit nostalgic about the stupid arguments people used to make all the time back in the olden days of the-money.com and, later, HSX.
