Child rapist (convicted and served his time) chosen for the Dutch volleyball team for the Olympics. Should that be disqualifying?

I can definitely see arguments that the punishment was too light, but it seems to have been in line based on the crime and jurisdiction.

The Flames dropped a prospect they drafted around 2022 because of subsequent sexual assault charges from when he was a minor.

What he did is awful but he served his time and should be allowed to compete. I can't see a reason to ban him when what he did

That's tough. Do you believe in rehabilitation? If it were for a different crime, would that matter?
