You go into a tiny office. You are informed that video and audio are being recorded. You are informed that three adjudicators are watching.
The interrogator puts wires on you. One of the wires circles the chest, for women, this is very awkward.
You are told to not move while answering questions. This is surprisingly difficult.
They give you deliberate lies to calibrate. Such as, are the lights on in the room? Is your name Lucie? You are supposed tosay no to calibrate the lies
Then they start asking hard questoins. They re word them
In my case, I was asked if I ever committed a terrorist act. I was asked about it over and over and over. It turns out every time he said terrorism I spiked. I felt nothing. He asked me what is it about terrorism? I said I was in NYC on 9/11. He asked if I had a close call,I said not me personally. It turns out I have PTSD from 9/11 that I was not aware of.
