It feels like all it would take is a foot twitch to bump the accelerator and start moving again. Does your car have adaptive regen? I have mine set

that way so it uses the same sensors for auto-cruise to push the regen harder as I'm approaching cars on regen. It *almost* will bring me to a complete stop but it's super nice vs. static regen level
