I hope so. The Pirates's Senior VP, Ben Cherington, did an interview a couple of months ago.

He won rings as the GM of the Red Sox.

He was pretty blunt that there's never been a blueprint for anybody like Skenes. So, they're taking lots of notes. If it doesn't work, they'll pass along the mistakes they made to future teams. It's gotten that ridiculous about understanding the health of high-velocity/high movement pitchers.
