Their owner is lucky that Arte Moreno exists in that both suck but Arte had better players to squander so people pay more attention to the Angels.

neither team has much of an analytics department, drafts mediocre, and spends money badly but refuse to actually adjust their processes.
Neither is a 'bad guy', but both suck at actually running an organization.
