We ended up in our basement for about a half hour while the storm blew overhead. I really need to rearrange a few things down there or make a plan

Our basement is a walkout with southern facing windows + sliding door. It feels almost as insecure as our main floor though there is an area behind the furnace/heater that is not in direct view of the windows. We really should probably shelter in our master bathroom and/or the closets other than those being on the main floor
