In response to "STIS: Should I consider replacing a kitchen faucet on my own? Or hiring a handyman to do it?" by ReluctantCynic

My dad and I replaced my kitchen sink a while back when we first moved into our first home (the whole basin). That stuff is generally

straightforward but also physically taxing and in our case it was a pretty tight space under the sink to be working in which made it harder (bad angles, small openings). Doable but challenging.
