when I saw Kokoruda for the first time at the pet store, I approached her. She sniffed me and licked my hand as if she'd been waiting for me since birth.
Last year, I saw a video of a cow licking a human's hand in gratitude after they had saved her calf. It was exactly the way Koko had acted with me. So, I just couldn't do it anymore, but I may not have a choice.
We're having a hard time ignoring the timeline of my issues and my no longer eating beef. I actually tried to give up all meat, but that was a disaster.
