there is this subplot about real estate that is very poorly fleshed out. it could have been actually interesting.

the bit players on the tornado chasing teams were poorly drawn, caricatures mostly. didn't the original movie have better character development?

there were so many opportunities for near misses with windmill blades but I think we only saw one and it was mid.

the science is so junky. I mean I get it, it's a disaster movie. but we're combating the results of climate change by sending chemicals (that I am sure are a disaster to manufacture from an environmental standpoint) into the atmosphere. ok. sure.

daisy edgar-jones's american accent is trash at times. like, trash. tash.

all of these things said, I liked it well enough and will watch it again on netflix I'm sure.
