So much depends on what one likes to do. Spend time in the pool or spa? Ride rollercoaster? Gamble? Sit and stare at the waves?

I've done a number solo and find I'm happy being me, but I can generally find someone to talk to - even if it's just the bartender :)

I wouldn't use Disney and try to avoid Carnival but again -personal choice.

I do miss the days of assigned seating when you sat with the same group every night. Even when I say I'm happy to share I generally finish up eating alone.
