1) that liberal ideas aren't popular and Democrats should just sacrifice everything they believe in
1a) that you wouldn't lose vast percentages of left wing Democrats with this
2) that Romney is a "centrist"
3) that we need a Grand Guesture instead of, just, you know, a normal fucking Democrat, of which there are dozens before you get to Mitt fucking Romney
4) the undercurrent of "do we have to have the black woman?" in all if this is Biden is replaced - there's an obvious answer that pundits are rejecting because it doesn't allow them to seem like the Smartest Politics Understander Who Has All The Answers.
