In response to "So I'm truly not a conspiracy theorist on the Trump shooting, but the fact that when he finally released a medical report, it came from Ronny Jackson " by pmb

I don't see where the conspiracy would be. There was a shooting. A person died.

Conspiracy #1: There was no shooting. Score: F. We know there was a shooting. A victim died.

Conspiracy #2: The shooter was enticed to take a shot and miss. Score: D. A huge gamble. The guy needed to get in place and take the shot. Both of those things nearly didn't happen. And to then expect him to come close, but *miss*? That's a hell of a gamble.

Conspiracy #3: Trump didn't actually get injured. Score: F. There's blood. Is it a fake blood packet? Hardly. No.

Conspiracy #4: Trump wasn't hit by a bullet, just injured by glass. Score: B. I'm not saying it's likely. I'm saying that if this is what happened (injured by glass, not bullet), I can believe the Trumpists would want to cover it up and present it as much worse (no, he was actually hit by a bullet!) But what a strange hill to fight and die on. He got shot at. Teddy Roosevelt was shot. Is it any less significant that his thick speech stopped the bullet? Would it be any less significant if a bullet proof vest had saved Trump's life? So he's injured by debris instead of the actual bullet... so what? It doesn't matter, until the Trumpists make it matter, and now it's a lie to add to the heap of lies.
