Nobody ran against him. It wasn’t a straight “He’s our guy” primary season. It was a “It’s yours” one. -- (edited)

That’s not leaving a lot of democratic spirit on the table.
What I hope this is a lesson to for other democrats, perhaps someone should have stepped up.
