In other news Gunnar was this close to a perfect weekend but blew it this evening.

I won’t be able to do this during the week but I had him outside more than inside this weekend. Plus since he has been peeing inside right after having been outside I’ve tried the strategy of taking him out 5-10 minutes and if he doesn’t go then bring him inside for just a few minutes and take him back outside. Repeat until he goes outside and reward him with a treat.

It seemed to be working, but this evening though he peed inside right in front of me. I’ve started scolding with a loud NO and a clap and then taking him outside if I catch him in the act. I don’t do anything if I don’t catch him in the act except clean it up.
