Painting our family room, that just had baseboards and crown molding installed (that I also need to fill in the nail holes and then paint both), and also painting all 4 walls of a pretty large room.
Using a roller, lots of painter's (blue) tape, drop cloths, and some brushes for doing the edges by the molding/bases and corners.
Any other great advice?

don't try to one coat it, it rarely works, give a quick coat with thinned paint, then paint for reals. much better coverage -- nm

One trick I learned is that if you have to use a brush, but don't want that to not match what was rolled, you can dab with a foam brush -- (edited)
