which means Arizona will have had a Senate election in seven consecutive cycles

2016 (McCain reelected, dies in office)
2018 (Sinema elected)
2020 (Kelly wins special election to remainder of McCain's term)
2022 (Kelly wins full term)
2024 (Sinema's now open seat this election)
2026 (special election for remainder of Kelly's term)
2028 (regular election for what is currently Kelly's seat)
