They kinda rolled their eyes at the idea that after one panic attack, you can learn your lesson in one weekend and have anxiety under control after that.
I think the movie was trying to give more of an overall societal awareness to anxiety than truly trying to show Riley was all good after that.
I don't see Riley as one person, but more us as people in the world being able to control our anxiety. Still, I get what my kids mean.
