I liked camping overnight for tickets so I could be first in line, but being at the airport 3 hours early so I could get my preferred seat? Nope.

The only positive thing I can think of is when I've had to get last minute travel, and any decent seats are gone so I'm in the back row by the bathroom. Even if you're in Boarding Group C (or whatever), you could get a better middle seat somewhere.
(I also haven't flown SW in probably 3 or 4 years, though, so what do I know.)
