His breaking stuff used to be unhittable. It's always hard watching mortality set in for the greats.

He had an ERA of 1.43 in five years with Atlanta.

1.43.

He was right there with Bryan Harvey as the most unhittable I'd ever seen.

Billy Wagner retired because he knew Atlanta didn't need him anymore, and he was coming off the best season of his career when he retired.
