There is no one place that's the best. I would likely go to Joe's on Carmine just as much as John's or a number of other places. There's Scarr's which

is also phenomenal. I love L&B for their Sicilian and so on.
I went with John's on Bleecker as they're in the top 5 but there's no way to pick a best so you really gotta try a bunch and find your favorite.
