If you can't do the trick, don't try the trick.
I feel the same way about snow boarding.

You fall constantly in skateboarding. It's very difficult to land tricks, even the less difficult ones. It's why they reward people that stay on

That's my point. What makes it boring is the failed tricks. That's why there's practice. Would you want multiple falls in figure skating?
