Doom is an Emperor God of a world that has been smashed together of the remnants of the surviving universes.

A core team of heroes from several universes eventually overthrow Doom and the FF set the Multi Verse back in motion

This is where the Ultimate Universe (at the time) merged with the Marvel Prime universe.
