I think the story, concept and jokes were better in 1.
BUT I found 2 better for the emotions and intensity. Princess Disney will be 13 in October so I know my thoughts have to do with that. I felt my own emotions more in this than one and I think the panic/anxiety attack was so well done. Like the movie could almost be a documentary on people of all ages deal with intense emotions.
