Spoilers.

I just thought a huge part of it was senseless pointless fighting since neither of them can hurt the other one. So what’s the point? It doesn’t move anything forward or resolve anything.

Sprinkle that in with the John Wick style “kill everyone in violent ways” so much that it just becomes white noise.

I thought the idea of putting a bow on 20th century fox and moving things forward was smart. But the plot was pretty vanilla really.
