I liked them too. I think a big thing was not feeling nickel and dimed. Every little thing costs on the major airlines, better seats, checked bags,

now they even charge to use the skycaps. The price for southwest was higher than the absolute base for the others, but better than when you made the trip manageable. It was just easier.
